Health Insurance Sucks in the USA

It should totally cover third-leg attachments and heightening surgery. Note: this video is not made to support socialism, though some of the passersby might suggest it as a solution. K?

    @Mite0m Well i …
    @Mite0m Well i only saw some Videos from extreme guys in US fighting against HealthCare with arguments like “if this will come, Socialism will come to America”
    after I came to this video.

    @DrMison
    we …

    @DrMison
    we contribute to that here as well…I’m confused to what you mean?

  3. DrMison says:

    Here in germany we …
    Here in germany we have Health insurance since “Health Insurance Bill of 1883″
    and it still works. Not even USA didnt stop it when they were in charge from 1945 to 1949 (Federal Republic of Germany was founded)
    50% is payed by the employee and 50% by Employer. In Case of unemployment the state has to pay.
    77% of the germans are statutory health insured and 23% private insured.
    And it is still working and worked for more than 125 Years. And we have no socialism here, sorry. ;-)

    seen …

    @nigee008
    seen you on here since last year talking about that very point you keep mentioning. If your “girlfriend” got this operation in Europe, she’d have to apply for it then wait to be contacted, correct? I live three houses away from a woman born and raised in England, and she told me point blank, their insurance is nothing to rave about. Also, where do you get this info about “millions of Americans losing their homes because they can’t pay a health bill”? Rumors and misconceptions.

  5. Mite0m says:

    @firebirdhome
    Yes …

    @firebirdhome
    Yes, interesting, but may I ask…isn’t there a waiting list in Canada? You need say hip surgery, but a little boy needs one too. You’re either gonna wait or be flown to the USA..so we can’t be all that bad. I tell you stright up, you have a small piece of a large puzzle. Also there are more MRI machines in the state of New Jersey than the whole of Canada? As of right now, Big Brother is NOT involved in our health care.

  6. Mite0m says:

    @nigee008
    Most …

    @nigee008
    Most hospitals have what they call charity care. If you cannot afford a visit, THEY HAVE to treat you!! Also, Fact: Each state has their own income guidlines for healthcare if you make under a certain amount. The alternative is we move to Canada or UK and pay HIGHER taxes and have our fate in Big Brothers hands. Weigh the options? Pay now or pay later. Either way, sir, it’s not free.

  7. Mite0m says:

    @PLUMBdogg
    I …

    @PLUMBdogg
    I agree, sir. Moore can and laugh his behind all the way to the bank (courtesy of people that buy his movies, tv shows, etc). Guess what? The guy still lives in America! Moore gives a very small piece of a large puzzle, and ignorant people just watch and believe.

  8. Mite0m says:

    Yeah, but I’m not …
    Yeah, but I’m not so sure ObamaCare and Socialized medicine is really the answer. I believe that it goes much deeper here in the states. I know a girl in the UK and a gentleman in Canada and they don’t really rave all that much about their health system. It’s a complex problem with no easy solution. “Free” health care is a sham, there is no “free” health care. Pay now, (USA) or pay later (elsewhere), but in the end you’re gonna pay.

  9. lnesland says:

    Its a fact health …
    Its a fact health care suck in the USA. 32 million people are without. If you loose your job, like millions are doing now during financial crisis, you are fucked. Hell, why you American’s using your tax money on NASA, schools, roads..and more?

    this brunette moron …
    this brunette moron has clearly no idea what a health insurance is for. Too bad there“s no insurance against stupid reporters.

  11. PLUMBdogg says:

    I thing you just …
    I thing you just made my point. The $300 is an ADDITIONAL TAX for some provinces. How can a system sustain itself if you have people receiving benefits and not contributing? By additional taxes! Also, there are options to get free or at least discounted or subsidized healthcare here already, and that IS a fact. I know alot of people that use them. Again, it’s all pointless anyway and I’m not wrong, it’s unconstitutional to force U.S. citizens to enter a contract or risk breaking the law.

  12. firebirdhome says:

    Nothing to do with …
    Nothing to do with my coverage? What didn’t you read? Yes that is my share specifically labeled for health contribution. And we are covered regardless of age and health conditions, I find it acceptable. If I were unemployed and contributed NOTHING, I’d still be covered as a Canadian. You are wrong, this is not a prerequisite. You can go ahead and pay if you want, or buy some insurance, it’d be your headache nobody elses.

  13. nigee008 says:

    PLUMBdog
    I don’t …

    PLUMBdog
    I don’t have to use Moore’s polemic as a reference alone; my girlfriend comes from KS and like millions of others, has no insurance. She recently had to undergo an op leaving her indebted to the tune of around $5000, a debt she cannot afford and for which she is now being chased. This op would have been free (at point of source) in Europe (as is all treatment.) Millions of Americans are losing their homes as a consequence of the egregious cost of health. Reform cannot come soon enough.

  14. PLUMBdogg says:

    So you’re taxed to …
    So you’re taxed to death and they get you for an additional $300 a year. You can’t honestly believe your share is only $300since that is an additonal tax for Ontario citizens and doesn’t have anything to do with your coverage. You’re not counting all the levies and fees imposed on everything else. It’s all pointless to me anyways, I would argue that it is unconstitutional to force citizens of the U.S into a contract as a prerequisite of living in America.

    Man I love this …
    Man I love this country. Moet and Cristal with breakfast, TONS of pussy, the greatest music on Earth, fast cars and titty bars. You just hating.

  16. PLUMBdogg says:

    Using Michael Moore …
    Using Michael Moore as a reference for understanding healthcare is one of the craziest things I’ve heard. How bout you watch “manufacturing dissent”.

  17. firebirdhome says:

    True. And yes we’re …
    True. And yes we’re taxed to death up here… but when I do my income tax, my ‘share’ for health tax when calculated by income is maybe $300. That’s for a whole year! That is almost the exact same amount I had to pay in the 1980s when it was under old regulations. Covers a splinter to heart surgery. Swipe a card and hassle free sounds good. I’ve been in Canada my whole life and have yet to run into a single problem described in these comments.

  18. firebirdhome says:

    That is a symptom …
    That is a symptom you are describing. Being American, you probably aren’t aware of the ‘brain drain’ that occurred in the 1990s where 25% of our doctors moved to the USA for “money”. Also, with $5,000 sign ons, many nurses did as well, esp. border cities. I can see a doctor within 15 minutes at any clinic, swipe my card, xrays, visit, everything is covered. Some failings in our system? Perhaps. But if I bring my child in, I never have to do anything more than swipe her card and walk in

  19. Jackson33d says:

    The only way to …
    The only way to change health insurance is to boycott it.

    If EVERYBODY cancels their health insurance policy, then and only then will health insurance companies listen to us.

    Boycotting does work! Remember when gas prices were $5 / gal.? We stopped buying gas and it went down. O.K., so it took a recession to do it, but the result was the same.

    So send a message to your health insurance company! Boycott! Stop paying your health insurance premiums!

    Power to the people!

    Because Everyone Is Like Yeah I Want Free Health Insurance!

    WELL THATS GREAT SUSAN GIVE ME A $100 TO SUPPORT IT!

    The $100 (tax) Is Not Supportng Just You But A Whole Nation Isn’t That Great Susan.

    Yeah I’m Helping!

    WELL SUSAN YOU DUMB Your Paying For Everyone That Means Even The People Who Don’t Work That Are Freeloading On Your $100 (tax) You Gave Me.

    Free Health Care Is …
    Free Health Care Is Not Affordable I’d Rather Die Than To Have My Country Fall Into Poverty More.

    I Mean Universal Health Care Makes The Area or Country its At Poor. Since You Need Taxes To Full That Void Because Med Supplies Aren’t Free.

    Sure Some Have Been Able To Do This, But We as Americans Can’t. We Are To Greedy. Its Like That Story If You Give A Mouse A Cookie He’s Gonna To Need Some Milk.

    If You give Us Free Health Care We Will Need To Give Up Something Else To Support The Finances.
