    the UK may be …
the UK may be recovering in nominal terms but they can’t keep going the way they’re going, huge deficits and an unproductive, uncompetitive economy, the Asian markets are quickly going to take over the west, a major re-distribution of REAL wealth (not paper wealth) is taking place right now, you just can’t see it.
again, big corporations only exist thanks to government special privileges and corporate welfare / subsidy’s. the real greedy people are in government, not in the free market.

  2. DaveC86 says:

    sorry, i completely …
sorry, i completely disagree. read the late great Henry Hazlitt’s book Economics in One lesson. no doubt if you took a semester of economics you would believe that the market doesn’t work on its own, because modern keynesian economics is a built on more fallacies than i can count.
zero regulation does work, the invisible hand is wayyyyy more efficient than the hand of the state. people perusing personal interests make better economic choices than some central planning bureaucrats.

  3. BenkaiDebussy says:

    Come on dude, …
Come on dude, anyone with more than one semester of economics knows that a pure free market doesn’t work due to market inefficiencies that are inherent in the real world. People are not perfectly rational and certain goods have more/less elastic demand.

This is common sense. You’d have to be pretty detached from reality to think that *zero* regulation would actually work.

Hell, lots of industries flat out couldn’t even turn a profit (see public schooling) in a free market.

    Just for fun, while …
Just for fun, while you’re on YouTube, check out all tagged as ‘Alex jones Depopulation’ and ‘Georgia Guidestones Vandalized’. These videos may help you to see deeper into the world problems.

  5. northwesten says:

the UK is on the …
the UK is on the verge of economic collapse? sorry incorrect. We already slowly recovering.

Also If you don’t regulate and corporation get so big then you have a lack of competition then the company do what they like. Not a View it’s a fact how company’s do this. Corporation get so big they effect the government.

  6. DaveC86 says:

    the free market …
the free market doesn’t require government regulation, private regulators would be in demand if people took personal responsibility for their decisions and didn’t expect the government to do it for them.
Big corporations are not a result of the free market or deregulation, but only exist from government granted special privileges and interference with the market like minimum wage / licensing laws etc
the UK is on the verge of economic collapse, like the USA, thanks entirely to big government.

  7. northwesten says:

    sorry but Bush …
sorry but Bush lowered your government. Cutting founds to some departments etc. Which Corporation benefit from lower food standards etc.
Look at the UK we keep an eye on the Company’s so they dont people around. Also in US I have to have money to fight big corporations. Though IN UK I can contact Goverment agenticy to help me deal with a company if I have issues with.
mmmm Big government YES less Government = your company’s yay

  8. northwesten says:

    you have food banks …
you have food banks if you can’t afford food! So kinda weak really

  9. northwesten says:

I see NHS not free …
I see NHS not free but Goverment insurance. Now I live IN US I worried about insurance. In a way I am lucky my wife works for the state so she has benifits.

Though 12% of UK has there own insurance. So if NHS knows your covered they tell you to go to them first, but still cover u for A%E treatments.
Tho if you have old injury’s or operations then your screwed by any insurance company. With NHS your covered.

  10. northwesten says:

    lame attack on …
lame attack on teeth dude. I live in US and I come across alot of people who have bad teeth too in the US.
So Like I said Very week. Maybe you should travel EU and look how things operate.

  11. northwesten says:

right on dude! I am …
right on dude! I am british and I thinking the same here. I live in USA and People in the bar ask me about NHS!
Some said NHS Doesn’t work and I ask them have yo utraveled to UK?
answer no and I say well you don’t know what your talking about then.
I said we all pay towards it and guess what we not worried about it. We happy to have it. 12% in UK have Private insurance.

  12. angelasweet1 says:

    nO THANKS! ITs a …
nO THANKS! ITs a Big MISTAKE! I dont agree with socialism. You Loon!

  13. JDSackman says:

    Marxists are “evil” …
Marxists are “evil” because of “intolerance of opposing views”? Is it not “intolerant” to label something “evil” without discussion? Are we reduced to name-calling?

  14. JDSackman says:

    Why should people …
Why should people be discouraged from going to the doctor? That raises, rather than lowers, overall costs, because people let health problems go too long, and they become more expensive to deal with. That is one reason the US health care costs are by far the highest in the world.

  15. jgposner says:

    Whether it is …
Whether it is government or private, we need a deductible. Deductibles cause people to be prudent. With a deductible, people won’t go to the doctor for every little sniffle. They may make a few calls to see which doctor is cheaper. Deductibles put an ESSENTIAL downward pressure on health care costs. Also, we have to stop protecting doctors. I nurse can diagnose an ear infection. Shoot, I could. I don’t have a problem with fire departments, but your fire insurance is analogy is retarded.

  16. sifrase91 says:

    actually I wasn’t …
actually I wasn’t going to call you fat and racist, I just think it’s unfair to lable universal healthcare as evil, and british teeth aren’t that bad unless like anywhere else they aren’t brushed, universal healthcare can work well, look at france for example. to me paying insurance to get treated is an unthinkable concept, and I suppose for you free healthcare is unthinkable

  17. Darxio says:

    Finland also has a …
Finland also has a much, MUCH smaller population than America… just sayin’…

  18. Darxio says:

    I’d never want the …
I’d never want the UK’s healthcare. For example, have you looked at their teeth lately?

I do not want Dear Leader’s health care reform, which his Masters have crafted and don’t even want to read due to the intimidation of the size of the leaglese of the bill itself.

Evil Marxists are evil. Maybe not ignorant, but definitally evil what with their zealous train of thought and intolerance of opposing views.

I think this is the point where you call me fat and racist, right?

  19. WakeYourNeighbor says:

    This is hilarious.

    This is hilarious.
I would use the same exact points (government run schools, medicare, etc) as examples of why we should NEVER hand over health care to government. They do a horrible job. Medicare is broke and Dept of Ed resulted in some of the dumbest kids in the civilized world. To assume our current system is “free market” is just wrong. It is one of the most regulated industries in the U.S. That’s why it’s expensive. Plus: Stealing is wrong…

  20. Jounevel says:

    I’m an American, …
I’m an American, and I have a friend who lives in Finland. (Not internet “friend” real friend) and their healthcare system is Amazing! And… *gasp* run by their government… just sayin’…

  21. MissJemimaPuddleduck says:

    As a Canadian, I …
As a Canadian, I really hope America doesn’t implement government-run healthcare like we have. For more information, please search for these youtube videos:

  22. sifrase91 says:

    typical, anything …
typical, anything that benefits the whole population you shout marxist. almost every country in the world has universal healthcare, including your ally (assuming are american) the UK, and our NHS is great and we’re not marxists cluctching pictures of stalin and chairman mao

  23. DonPaulPro says:

    this is retarded …
this is retarded and not well thought out. typical liberal BS.

monetary profit would not be part of the equation, but political profit would. think about it

  24. Darxio says:

    Evil Marxists are …
    Evil Marxists are evil.

  25. osagemonster says:

    share the burden …
share the burden according to ability to pay? Sound pretty marxist there, buddy. “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need”. That would be fine & dandy in Utopia, unfortunately however, we live in real life.

Sales tax is pretty fair across the board. If you buy a used Ford Focus for a couple thousand, because thats what you can afford = smaller tax. Buy the fully loaded brand new Audi because thats what you can afford= larger tax. Pretty fair.
