I am quoting health coverage for my family since we do not get this from an employer. My agent suggested that each family member have a separate insurance plan instead of one family plan to cut costs. I have never heard of doing this? Any comments or suggestions? Thanks

Depending on what insurance packages they offer. This could be good in that you could tailor a package to the individual needs. For example if one of your children has braces, then you could select an insurance package for that child which covers more than just general dental. I don’t know though, just work it out based on what you need and the cost.
