How will Barack Obama’s and John McCain’s health care plans affect me if I become a doctor?

I want to become a doctor when I am older (I’m only a freshman in high school), and I am wondering how Obama and McCain’s health care plans will affect me.

Unfortunately with both of them you won’t see much of a change.

Hopefully the insurance companies will be out of the picture and the money would go directly to the physicians. Middlemen suck.

Universal Health Care.

No more stiffing doctors because someone can’t afford to pay and doesn’t have insurance.

My sister who is an MD is voting for Obama, so I guess she feels Obama’s agenda is better for the country. She is a humanitarian.

Well neither candidate is addressing corruption in the AMS, which is one of the biggest culprits in the entire health care system. That affects your biggest chances of becoming a doctor at all.

You have probably picked the worst profession if Obama was to get elected. Socialize medicine and higher taxes will reduce what you would earn.

I do think doctors should earn a little less though.
