Is health promotion/disease prevention studies a difficult major to graduate from?

I’m trying to decide on my undergraduate major…(I’m going pre-med)

Most pre-med students try biology or chemistry. Health promotion/ disease prevention sounds more like you are headed for a Masters in Public Health, not Medical Doctor. Pitch the idea to the Med schools you are interested in and see what type of feedback you get. Unless you want to take you MD and go into public health??
