I think that implementation of Government run health would create so many jobs in the Health Care Service Sector that our economy would be on the right track. Also think of the advances in medicine that would result from more people with variations of disease that would get examined [leading to better drugs to combat more variants] . The pharma companies need to be taxed more because they would make it back with higher drug sales anyhow….

The stress and frustration of dealing with bureaucracy. The delay of services month after months. Too old to marry, too young to bury. This statement was made by a dying grandmother. She applied for govt. healthcare in Feb 09. Her case got delayed until Dec 09. She received hospice care in Dec 09 and suddenly her govt. healthcare got approved. You see, its cheaper to pay for hospice care than to pay for treatments of cancer. Furthermore once she received hospice care, all other treatment halted.
